Postings about the DaSH Human Powered Airplane project. Our goal is to have fun and learn while building an HPA on a budget of no more than the price of a new car by keeping the design simple and the build time to a minimum.

Wing Work
Trailing edge fitting into rear of rib
Over the weekend, through Tuesday, we got a lot of work done on the wing test section. We built all 20 ribs, including the two hard ribs that go on the end to take all the Mylar tension, we built all the trailing edges, and we developed the methods for bending the Depron leading edge. Starting Wednesday, we will assemble the full wing test section (6.66 m long, representing a full center section of the DaSH v5 wing, but with an aluminum dummy spar in place of carbon fiber).
