Building Wing Trailing Edges

A series of photos showing the building of the Kevlar over Rohacell trialing edges.  Since these photos were taken, we've started putting an extra strip of Kevlar, 60 mm wide, underneath the large pieces of Kevlar (12"  (305 mm) wide on bottom, 12 1/2 " (317.5 mm) wide on top surface).  Those strips strengthen the

We're using a mix of 20 grams hardener, 50 grams resin of MGS 285 for the smaller bottom sheet, and 22 grams hardener, 55 grams resin for the larger (12 1/2") top sheet PLUS the to small 60 mm wide patches.

We found that we needed to put small strips of polyethylene on top of the top layer of Kevlar on the top side, in order that the full-vacuum (which Rohacell can take) doesn't pull out too much epoxy from the top layer, causing de-bonding.  We call these the "Magic Strips"
