The DaSH project is fortunate to have a diverse group of sponsors that have donated materials, components and services to help make the project a success. Their information is listed below:
MLB Company (now MartinUAV)
The MLB Company (now Martin UAV LLC) manufactures low-cost, small, UAV systems with up to 10 hours duration and stabilized day/night camera payloads. We specialize in turn-key UAV systems, aerial mapping, flight services, training, and R&D. Our company motto is "Airborne Access to Information" which reflects our commitment to providing the best unmanned aircraft technology to deliver high quality information from the aerial perspective.
MLB designed the high performance propellers for DaSH using custom propeller design code.

Lightning Cycle Dynamics
Lightning Cycles has built race-proven high tech bicycles for over 30 years, and are the only recumbent maker to set world records with a production bike (our P-38 model with optional F-40 fairing).
Lightning recumbents have traveled from Los Angeles to New York in 5 days, won the Abbot, Paul Mitchell, and STP Challenge Prizes, and have set over 20 world records. In addition to being fast, the modern integrated Lightning design delivers a bicycle that is also much more comfortable, safer and faster than ordinary upright designs.
Additionally over the past decade, Lightning Cycles has developed one of the lightest cranksets on the market. These carbon fiber cranksets are used on some Lightning model as well as upright single and tandem bikes.
Lightning provided the lightweight carbon fiber cranks used in the DaSH airplane.

Power. Passion. Precision. Knowledge. All converge when an athlete jumps aboard a bicycle, or in this case a human powered airplane. We understand this. More importantly, we feel it. Deeply. This is why we create most accurate, durable and cost effective power meters in the world.
Quarq engineered and manufactured the crankset based power meter used to measure the amount of human power output required to fly DaSH.

Highland Precision
Highland Precision machined aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber parts for the drivetrain, landing gear, wing and tail brackets, and lift wire assembly.

Aurora Flight Sciences
Aurora Flight Sciences is a leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced unmanned systems and aerospace vehicles.
Aurora is not your typical aerospace company. Yes, we make drones, but at the core of our company’s DNA is a commitment to the science of autonomous flight, whether that means a fully autonomous drone or a program that is breaking new ground in the interface between man and machine as relates to flight. And our work is not tied to one type of customer – our customers range from Silicon Valley tech companies, to the U.S. military, to world leaders in air cargo transport. And, not surprisingly, other aerospace companies come to Aurora to seek our help building their aircraft.
We’ve been in business for over 25 years, we’re a seasoned veteran, but when it comes to pursuing the next big aerospace innovation, we look more like the visionary startup company than ‘old veteran.’ Our company is big enough to be a tier one player on the most exciting unmanned programs in the world, but small and nimble enough to have earned the reputation as the company that is constantly bringing forward the disruptive, ground breaking new technology in unmanned flight.
We are headquartered in Manassas, VA and operate production plants in Bridgeport, WV and Columbus, MS. Aurora also has a Research and Development Center in Cambridge, MA, and a recently opened office in Mountain View, CA.
Aurora provided the special tensilized Mylar use for the wing and tail surface skins on DaSH.

Osprey Studios is where ideas become reality. We make prototypes, sculptures, and furniture from any material.
Custom work is our specialty.
Osprey Studios machined the DaSH propeller foam core blanks.

Larry Page, Google's co-founder, once described the “perfect search engine” as something that “understands exactly what you mean and gives you back exactly what you want.” Since he spoke those words Google has grown to offer products beyond search, but the spirit of what he said remains. With all our technologies—from search to Chrome to Gmail—our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to find the information you need and get the things you need to do done.
This means making search smarter and faster, so it can understand that when you type [jaguar] you’re looking for the car, not photos of the animal. It means showing you when your friends like an ad or a search result, so that you know it might be valuable. It means making our products work intuitively, so that you can share documents with Gmail contacts without having to copy and paste, and open the same tabs on your Android phone that you have open on your Chrome browser on your desktop. Above all, it means making our products work better so that people can spend time on the stuff they’re good at—like enjoying time with family, camping in the wilderness, painting a picture or throwing a party. We’re not there yet, but we’re working on it.
Google provided workspace for the construction and assembly of the DaSH aircraft.
