Horizontal Tail Test + Wing Build Continues


Prepping for the Horizontal Tail test


We tested the Horizontal Tail surface last weekend.  It has a smaller diameter spar than the vertical tail, so we wanted to make sure it could withstand full load of 1.25 * max cruise speed, at maximum angle of attack.

It flexed a bit, but passed the test with flying colors.  Now we know that both our tail surfaces are ready for the plane.

Wing Build Continues



We glued the trailing edge onto the Center Wing Section, and continued to build ribs for the Outer wing section, in preparation for that build in a couple of weeks...
